• The Greggory officially opens tomorrow! The highly anticipated restaurant is located at The Arboretum in South Barrington, and will be led by seasoned restaurateurs Gregg Horan (Gibsons Restaurant Group) and Bill Veremis (Rosewood Steakhouse Group), and partner Executive Chef Jose Sosa (Gibsons Italia) (link)

• A new Playroom Cafe opened in Hoffman Estates, which includes a beautiful indoor play space, cafe, and party venue (link)

• Foxtail is proposing a new upscale casual restaurant concept in Glenview (link)

• A new pizza and entertainment project, Dough & The Backyard, will be opening in Wheaton later this month (link)

• Kate Marker, one of our favorite designers from Barrington, is launching a new vacation rental property in Lake Geneva (link)

• The Chicago Bears and Arlington Heights have resumed the process of studying plans for a new stadium at Arlington Park (link)

• A new 30-acre development in Schaumburg was just approved that will feature shops, restaurants, offices, and apartments in a walkable, urban-style setting (link)

While some of the country’s best roasters can be found in the city, we also have a ton of great options across the suburbs including award-winning roasters, cozy cafes, and local outposts from a few Chicago favorites. Whether you are looking for a quality cup of Joe, your favorite specialty drink, or you just need a place to work, our list of favorites should have you covered.
